CV TIPS
YOUR CV PRESENTATION AND CAREER HISTORY
Our clients have come to expect GREAT candidates from Grant International.
A BRIEF CV is required but any lack of information will usually lead to your CV being passed over by our clients and one reason why is because of the lack of quality in both Content and Presentation.
No matter how good your experience, "if you cannot STRUCTURE your self on paper, how can you STRUCTURE your own work"?
Remember clients may have many applications per vacancy and they tend to look at the CVs which are the easiest to read first. Your CV must come straight to the point and highlight your experience with a brief summary of your skills, it must be no more that 2-3 pages Maximum !
Clients expect a summary of strengths and a more detailed account of each position you have worked in your career. All management skills and achievements, should be highlighted, per position worked ( Not a full job description )
If you are a chef, please describe your culinary strengths, styles of cooking, how many operations you run, how big your team is and what your main achievements are ) .Many candidates insert a professional photo's to enhance their CV and our clients have now come to expect this as normal!
Remember when you go for a job your competing with other candidates and the first foot in the door is how you are presented.
